Graduates of the 14th Pedagogical Training Course at the University of Human Development (UHD) attended their formal graduation ceremony on 21 July 2026. Hosted by the UHD Pedagogy and Academic Development Training Centre, the event celebrated around 60 students who successfully received their completion certificates. The intensive, six-month programme ran from 21 December 2025 to 21 June 2026.

During the ceremony,  Prof. Dr Ahmed Omar Bali, Director of the Pedagogy and Academic Development Training Centre, distributed the certificates and expressed his pride in the new graduates. He emphasised that UHD established the first centre of its kind in the Sulaymaniyah Governorate to formally license Master’s and PhD holders for university instruction.

In the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, completing a pedagogical course is mandatory for postgraduate degree holders seeking higher education teaching credentials. UHD offers this certified training twice a year at an affordable rate, with registration announcements published in advance across official UHD media channels. The centre remains a pioneer in training postgraduate scholars, equipping them with essential teaching and research skills for higher education institutions.
