The head of Sulaimani District Appellate Court delivered a seminar to students in the Law Department at the University of Human Development on 20 December 2025.

Judge Omer Ahmed Muhammed was warmly welcomed by the Dean of the College of Law and Politics, Asst Prof. Dr Kanaan Hamagharib Abdullah, in his office, and following a short meeting, they both headed to Professor Dr Ali Qaradaghi Hall, where students were waiting for the seminar.

Judge Omer expressed his views on various legal issues and focused more on what students needed to do to become good lawyers and legal experts, as well as to pursue other legal careers in the future, and how they can prepare for and face future challenges.

The seminar was a great opportunity for Law Department students to learn from the expertise of the head of one of the important courts in Kurdistan and get inspired by his experience.
