The University of Human Development President, Professor Dr Mariwan Ahmed Rasheed, received the Director of Rozhawa Education Directorate in Sulaymaniyah, Ms Banaz Ramazan Hama, along with several members of her directorate team on 28th May 2025. Members of the UHD Presidential Council also attended the meeting.

The Rozhawa Education Director thanked the University of Human Development for opening training and educational courses for students at Sulaimani Preparatory Schools of Commerce and stated that such courses would increase students’ employability in the future. She added that education (schools) and higher education (universities) sectors complement each other and need to work together. She expressed her support to joint initiatives and projects between her directorate and UHD.

For his part, the UHD President stated that the aim of educational and higher educational institutions is to nurture individuals, promote knowledge and science, and develop society on all fronts. He said that commerce schools, in reference to the training courses UHD opened to those schools, are important components of educational establishments and that UHD will do all it can to support them and other institutions.

At the end of their meeting, the UHD President and Rozhawa Education Director presented Letters of Appreciation to one another on behalf of their institutions.
